Vintage - MovieButts #35 The BEST & WORST of Robert Altman in the Early 70s Nashville (1975) & Brewster McCloud (1970)

On this weeks episode we look at two very different films from the amazing director Robert Altman! get ready to hear Aunty Joe Lose his mind over such amazing films as Nashville & The super Groovy Brewster McCloud. We get into why one worked commercially and one didn't.

Over the course of a few hectic days, numerous interrelated people prepare for a political convention as secrets and lies are surfaced and revealed.

An introverted loner living in the bowels of the Astrodome plots to develop - with the aid of a mysterious guardian angel - a pair of wings that will help him fly.

Each week we take the best and worst films from a filmmaker or franchise and discuss why one worked and one didn't. And we use freakin maths to determine the best and worst, so no arguing. Unless you think science is wrong???...yeah thought so.

About the Podcast

MovieButts Lives!
Podcasts die... but sometimes they come back! Same old shit but with some splashes of something new.
Continuing our discussion on movies as before, we are now expanding to include a couple of new formats. Dane might be gone, but the podcast lives on. Perhaps a bit hairier, heavier, and possibly even a tad more foolish.
